Last day in the sun
I sit here, in a wooden chair
In a wooden hut, out of time
The door is locked from the solar glare
And I am safe here in my home
Molten rivers flowing
The atmosphere is glowing
Lava, rising like the tide
Barriers can't halt it
Nothing can even slow it
Nothing left, no place to hide
Blue and green have turned
To red and yellow steaming
Glowing in this solar bomb
Time has now run out
The last ride out has long since gone
Last day in the sun
Lead runs down the window pane
And steam rises from the floor
Many have gone to other worlds
But here I am and here I stay
Hold me
Breathe me
Love me
Need me
Hold me
Breathe me
Love me
Don't leave me
Hold me
Breathe me
Love me
Deceive me
Hold me
Consume me
Swallow me whole
Swallow me whole
